While not expecting a ton for a set of speakers in this price range I was pleasantly surprised upon installing the set. I have a Caravan and the distortion from the OE speakers was driving me up a wall, so I ordered front 5.25", rear 6x9s, a couple pairs of tweeters and an amp installation kit to go with the JVC HD Radio CD player with 6 pre-amp outputs. I am still awaiting the arrival of the head unit, so I am still running off of the stock radio and the clarity and range of these speakers would fool about anyone to see a stock POS radio in place. I don't know that I'll keep the L.E.D.s hooked up, but my kids think they are neat so I might. The only downside to these is that they are listed as a shallow mount yet they need a spacer for the Caravan. I don't consider that to be that big of a drawback. Overall, the sound, range and clarity make these speakers a must have. Another item to look at is the 91db efficiency, which is on the higher side as far as car audio speakers go. I will be ordering at least one more set of these for the wife's car and highly recommend them.
