This amp is pretty impressive. I Have had it hooked up for two weeks and have been quite pleased. The sound quality is very clean. Poweer output is much more accurate on the Excelons than on the regular kenwood line. Tuning features are very nice. I like the cover plate. It adds some nice cosmetics to the amp. The terminals are old fashioned. This kind of sucks. They are also easy to brake right off of the board if you use a drill to screw down your connections. Use a screwdriver for that. It has little to no background noise when accompanied with the right deck. Cooling fan keeps the amp cool. The use of higher performance components does wonders for this amp. Kenwood did a good job on this one.

If you want features and you have an excelon deck than this is an awsome 4 ch amp for the price. Although there wasn't a huge power boost from my alpine 50wt rms 4 ch amp, the sound quality is of the hook. The bass response from my 6.5 kappa components was well improved.
