I finally had all my equipment hooked up.Turns out the fit guide on here is incorrect.6 1/2's in the FRONT and 5 1/4 in rear.Anyway the component 5 1/4 type R's sound great in front, but the full range 5 1/4 type R's made me sick.Not five minutes after I left the install place,my right rear 5 1/4 started popping.Im running it all of an Alpine PDX 100.4. I just checked OCS return policy and Im past my 30days and seems like they will not be liable for ANYTHING.Guess I wont buy the 6 1/2 comps on sale as I do need them and Im SOL.

Just installed these in an 86 Honda civic hatchback with Clarion deck I had sitting around. Had to do slight modificatation to get these to fit with stock honda cover over them. Even with the stock speaker wire these little speakers sound great and have very nice low end. Was going to add an amp but it's not needed.

I bought these for my 07 Suzuki Forenza.Most of the fit guides including OCS say 5.25 fit front and rear doors, but for some reason,Crutchfield says 6.25 in front. Anyway, I bought the tyrp R 5.25 2ways for the rear and 5.25 components for the front.Concidering getting another set of 5.25 components for the rear doors and putting the 2ways on the rear deck.Going to be some cutting involved but so what.All powered by a JL Audio 300.4v2. These should be a nice addition to the 1000.1 JL Mono block Slash pushing 2 T1 Power Series Fosgates until I get the box made for the W6's.Since my center stage should be focused in the front I will just have to turn the gain down for the rear sets.If Alpines attention to detail and quality has not changed, then I should not be dissapointed.
