As a old school guy I bought a long time ago Autotek and was really impressed with the power these amps put out and once again I have found this Brand on line and am still impressed with there amps. I went ahead and bought the 1500ss, pushing as of now one Kicker 15inch L-5 and its doing a hell of a Job pushing it, awsome amp! I have recomended my friends at work to get this brand, since they have not heard of Autotek and they too are impressed, 2 thumbs up!
Wow! very impressive piece of technology.even though it shares some components with hifonics.this is not a sham 4 12s with power to spare.
First off the set up i have two Digital Designs 3500e 12's and one of these amps on each one of them and to honest i think i could run both the subs off one and be just as happy. i am running steady at 1400-1500 watts on each amp and never have overheating problems i did have to get an extra battery to keep both these beasts happy but if you are running power hungry woofer (strokers, digital designs) these are more than ample power. probably the best bang for the buck if you are looking for huge sound on a budget.
I hooked up this bad boy in my friends impala with two 10in Kicker L5s rated at 450rms watts each. I have the same subs in my car with an arc audio kar 1000watt amp. This amp should make them sound better but it doesnt. This amp in overrated but still very powerful however it doesnt make the subs sound clean. My arc audio makes my subs hit harder and sound way cleaner than this amp does. I have tuned all of the setting on this amp to see if I can make the subs sound clean but i cant even took it to a shop were we bought the subs and they said its the amp that makes them sound bad. If u dont care what ur subs sound like this is a good amp but i would rather go with a name brand like kicker, jl, arc audio, rockford or others like that if u want ur system to sound nice and clean.
