I like this amp a lot! I'm have it powering 4 Clif Designs CD1500C subs in ported boxes in the back of a Yukon XL. I'm running it at 2ohms and the power is outrageous. The sound quality is great and the bass is as load as you can stand. The only drawback is you will need an extra battery, large capacitors and 0 gauge at to power it. I would buy this amp again if I wanted this much bass but I don't I'm going to sell 2 of the subs and use 2 Alpine PDX-1.1000 for the bass. The new alpine PDX amps are the best amps for the money. I run my fronts with them.
this amp is a cheap knock off from the digital design Z2 series amp,difference is for 100 dollars more u are getting a way better amp and u can get it in a 14 or 16 volt series.the dd audio wil do a massive 8500 watts rms not peak the highfonics amp will barely put out half the power and is way to expensive.
I have this amp and it is no joke. Mike i dont know what your talking about this amp can push 10200 watts rms, those are the 14.4v figures. Anyway i had this amp pushing 4 15s and it fried all 4 of them. And yes they were wired correctly...great amp, just expensive....
hey brian how many world records have u set lately.ne i bet ive tested these hifonics 4 amps on my 2 t3 18 inch subs i hit a 162.3 a year later i used 4 digital design z2 amps strapped i hit a 167.2 do the math the proof is in the scores world finals 2006 and 2007.look it up super street class.
i have no world records but i have built these amps sins i was a little kid and i have reviewed all of the xxv sampsons parts it may have the same bord type as z2 or something else but parts are completly differnt. the sampson is built for raw power not sound q but i wold like to see it go up aganst the z2 or something, my mony definetly on the xxv.
This amp was not ment for SQ or music, it was built for straight Power / DB Drag. Mike from Boston, you put 4 of these amps on 2 T3 subs and did a 162.3 then you did 4 Z2's and jumped almost 5 db's?? I smell BS now. The Z2 is a good amp but it ain't that good.
this amp rocked 6 l7 15s!!!! i love it. great sound quality. and i would have 8 on there but the amp blew 2 of them....
i have 2 of theses amps pushing 6 15" orion everything is wired down to 2 ohms. sounds great best quailty system in the state
I have 4 of these amps running 4 dc level 6 subs and I'll tell u what this thing hits. Wow this amp is one of the best out there. If u have the money spend it.
I’ve got 20 of these pushing 1 pioneer series 1 8” subs. Melts the voice coil every time I turn it on. I love it !
