I have these hooked up in my 300Zx to just a Kenwood MP732 head unit and for the money they are hard to beat. Good crisp hitting bass and clear highs. Do not distort at max volume and i plan on getting a multi-channel amp to hook them to later. Overall good speakers.
Love these speakers. Just installed a pair in 08 tacoma. Compared to the JBL speakers that came with the sticker price. Sound quality is awesome. Highly reccommended!
I Like This Speakers Alot, I Used To Have Sony Speakers In My Car, I Replace Them With This. They Have Good Bass, I'm Turning More Heads Now When I Cruise Around In My Car.

these speakers are loud even when you run them without an amp. The mids and highs are great. The bass is ok but i would recomend getting subs to take care of the low stuff. But they are loud speakers for the price and i would definately buy them again.
well i wish i came here to buy these i just paid 81.00 bucks for these things at best buy fuckers anyways great speaker even of a stock cd player deck like in my 2000 blazer they still pump good bass and top sound i just ordered another pair off here this time for my back doors great product.
I definitely would recommend these speakers. I don't have a high end system in my truck and used these to replace the stock ones in the front doors only so far and already have made a huge difference. Good bass and highs. I definitely plan on buying these for the back doors of my '00 Dakota quad cab.
Compared to the stock speakers that came out of my Silverado crew cab these are golden. Hit highs and mids perfect at any volume level. The bass is even great for coax speakers, but if you want something deep you need to add a sub. Also you would be better buying them here as I paid $70 a pair at a local audio shop!
Great speaker, huge step up from my factory ones. Taking door panels off and mounting it was the hardest part. But overall it's best case is it's quality per dollar ratio, alotta speaker for a little penny!
I used these to replace the stock speakers in my '96 Firebird. The local audio store tried to talk me into purchasing JL's 6.5 which are cool, but ridiculously priced. After a few days research I decided on these and after the install i'm happy with my purchase. The sound is crisp/ clear with just a hint of bass and that's w/o the 4 channel amp I bought to hook them up to. GREAT BUY!
I'M OLD-i was driving when stereo first came over the air.these 1682s sound fantastic.hooked to a 22rms/47max kenwood head unit the mids and highs are crystal clear with a nice touch of bass for a 6.5 spkr.dropped midrange setting to 0 and treble to 1 or 2 on kenwood. I'm r&b fan so deep bass not as needed. a small powered sub would be all someone might want to add.
Great set of speakers, they give a good punch and sound great. These can handle all types of music for sure. I just bought them and put them in my camry and they sound great with another pair of 6x9's (Kenwood).
great speakers, i put them in a camry, crystal clear but my pioneers 6x9 kinda overpowers them but it keeps with it. plan on adding an amp to sound even better
i have four of these rascals in a 01 maxima in all four doors... I have them powered by a jbl 320 watt 4 channel amp...they sound exceptionally well and very crisp...the mids and highs are excellent... I had pioneer 220 watts and i kept popping the tweeters and i dont even have capacitors in these kenwoods...
I put 4 of these in a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer. I did not get the package with the 710 watt rockford fosgate sound system, and decided the factory system just was not efficient enough. I bought these, and love them. They absolutely sound GREAT! They have great bass for just being midrange speakers. excellent highs. I love them. I will most definately continue shopping with onlinecarstereo and continue to buy kenwood components.
