| I wish I had room for a 10 or a deeper 8 but in my truck space is limited. I was surprised at this sub, it has great low end response. Balances everything out well. | |
| As subwoofers these an't that great but if used as midbass woofers much better.got 2 in my doors(sealed/.30 cubic inche enclosures) and run them from 30HZ to 100HZ(4-OHM load) using 100-watts each and they do a good job of keeping the bass up front.OH!If you mount them like I did make sure you use lots of sound deaden materal on the doors or they will rattle. | |
| This was the only sub I could get to fit under the FRONT seat of my 07 Nissan Frontier. I'm running it in a .23cuft custom (polly stuffed) box and powering it with a 200 W profile amp. It add's ALLOT of depth to the low end of my (mostly accoustic, country and rock)music. Kettle/kick drums and base lines I didn't even hear before are now obvious and deciently clear. Well worth the $ and a great addition if your tight on space and limited on options. It's not a real thumper (although you can get a bit out of it.) but does get you bumping to certain tunes if you crank up the input. my only regret is that I wish I had room for the 10" version as it has flatter low end response. hth | |
