I got one of these pushin an alpine type r 12'' n it hits pretty good but the only thing I hate about this amp is dat it gets 2 hot 2 damn fast. Im plannin on gettin an hifonics amp in about 1 or 2 months. I would recommend this amp to anyone who has a little sub that can handle this little amp.
I liked the amp at first but like Branden said, its gets hot way to fast and shorts out! I had it mounted to a single 12" Memphis DVC in my wifes car. Ive already sent in a claim to get it replaced! The wal mart Jensen amp I put in to replace it pounds better than this amp does! Very disappointed. The BOSS War 1900 watt amp I had was far superior to this one! If your looking for value, good amp as long as your running low power, but if your wanting something to pound and hold power, not the amp you want.
it gets the job done for the price, but even the rating of the fuse in the amp gives it away that theres no way its making 500wrms @2ohm but it pushes my 2 powerbass m10's very well, just a little muddy, but its definately the amp, because my previous JL amp did not sound muddy at all
i have had this amp for about a year pushing 2 12" kicker CVR. i have had no problems from it but now when i turn it up it just cuts out. i know its because my subs need way more im getting the 2000w amp to see if that is enough.
I power four 12 inch subs with this bad boy. (Final impedance 2 ohm) I got the mtx terminators and two boss exxtremes in two ported boxes. These guys get loud. I have the amp set on high gain with bass boost on. Then I use the remote and the head unit to determine how loud they really are (it's a pain to go to the back of the car and adjust it every time). Love this amp. Definitely good buy for the money. Had it for about 9 months now hasn't failed me yet
