I have a set of these in a 99 malibu in a sloted ported box, hooked up to a RF T500.1db amp,and these two pound like there is no tomorrow. i have the amp turned up a quarter of the way up and they are a beast ready to jump out of the box. these are a great pair to my system. for the money they are awesome. want to upgrade to the D6 soon.
i have 2 of these in a custom ported enclosure in the hatch of my 300zx powered by a JL 1000.1, very accurate, impacting and powerful 138.7 db and enclosure is tuned for quality :)

I have two of these in a ford ranger hooked up to a diamond D5 1200.1 amp...they pound like no tomorrow..very low, loud, and accurate.. I will never buy another brand...some brands can compare to the quality, but none can compare to the price
Diamond is the best, they are rated for 800watt but i've seen them handle up to 1200 watt rms. If you use a quality amp you will never blow a diamond sub, never. Sound quality wise, nothing can compete. I had 2 D312D4.2s and with only one of them hooked up pushing 400watt rms it was hitting hard and sounding better then two pioneer premiers of similar setup.
Have 3 10s in a blazer feels like it takes your breath away when it hits hits 2x's harder than 3 12inch kicker l5 powered with kicker zx 1000.1 set up i had have a diamond audio 1200.1 pushing the 3 10's go for it.
i got 2 of these bad boyz in a audio enhancer box with a autotek amp...and let me tell you these subs bump... can here me comin from 3-4 blocks away...and i have my amp almost all the way down....diamond is the ****.
i can only say one thing . im from idaho and it gets cold in the winter -10 or so . dont jump in your car on a cold day and crank these up. I did and it shattered both of them. just a warning.
