I recieved these speakers yesterday and couldn't wait to get them installed. Once the installer hooked them up and hit the volume about half way I was completely sold. These speakers replaced the aftermarket Zapco 6.5" in my 07 Avalanche and its like night and day. The clarity is unbelievable and much more than I expected. Well spent money.
Best car speakers Ive ever had - and Ive tried Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer. Decided to give these a go after having Infinity home speakers and being totally satisfied with them. Also, had Infinity references in my previous vehicle with no issues. But the difference between Kappas and Reference series is noticeable. These have amazing clarity and sound with neglible distortion (but think its my 4 year old Alpine head unit causing it). Like these even better than the 63.9is I have in the rear. You can't go wrong with these babys.
What can I say? As soon as I hooked these in to the back of my car, my music has become much more alive. The highs with these speakers are crystal clear and accurate, a major improvment in sound quality and I still have these hooked to my pioneer deck! I highly recomend these speakerse to anyone. The sound quality that you will receive with these speakers for this price you just can't go wrong! I will write another review once I have these bad boys amped up.

Replaced my kicker 6.5"'s with these, made a world of difference. Have them on a amp runnin off a stock deck and they still sound great. They punch ver well and stay clear (no distortion) even when turned up tremendously.
Great speakers at a great price. They screamed with very little distortion when I had them being powered by my head unit(pioneer avh-x5500bhs), and now that I have them hooked up to my JL A4300 4-channel amp they sound even better. The way the tweeter swivels so that you can direct its output to where you want it is really cool too. These speakers sound as good if not better than my alpines that costed twice as much, and the real test will be how long they last.
Good bang for your buck. I also own the 63.9i for my truck and they sound great! This is my second set, I bought these for my wife's car and one of the speakers was damaged on arrival...because it took so long for shippment (past 30 days) Online Car Stereo will not refund or help with acquiring a new speaker. I would however, buy these again if I could trust that the goods would not be damaged.
They sound really clean and had more bass than I expected. Can't beat if for the price.
