  • Ground Pounders indeed. very nice bass response, nice mid range to. Classical, Hip-hop, Hard Rock and techno work wonderfully but vocals on regular rock n' roll songs, easy listening, and some heavy metal are drowned out because of the strong bass response. simply put if you want a punch-to-the-face bass by them. you won't regret it.

  • I have two sets of these powered by the Crunch Ground Pounder 2150 Amplifier (2008 series). Each set gets a continuous 150 Watts RMS. All my gains are perfectly matched to the head unit and these are definately worth the money. Don't spend more when you can get great sounding speakers for less than retail. They are no high end (dont use for sound quality purposes) for for music in an SPL machine you cant beat it. I wish Crunch would beef them up a little though. Maybe have push terminals. The small magnets freak people out but that doesnt mean anything really. Good quality small magnets are more expensive than the larger, heavier ones, everyone should know that by now.
