Ordered these as replacement for blown stock speakers and they sound great. I spent a lot of time looking for speakers that had 'good bass' since I'm not interested in a subwoofer or amp. I wanted good quality and good sounding speakers to replace my four blown speakers and these fit the bill at a great price. Cloth surround, excellent response range and very good mids/highs. The bass from these really is dependant on setting the eq of my HU, but more importantly, the source of the music; a CDA sounds richer than many of my mp3's burned to a cd. A 1500$ car stereo might make up for differences in a quick burned mp3, but for the money, these speakers and my xplode HU sound just fine. With the EQ set, and a good sampled cda/mp3, these speakers will rattle windows, without an amp or sub ^^v. Installation was a breeze and was done in about an hour and a half for all four speakers in a 93 delSol Si. Mounting holes lined up fine and they fit in the doors and rear deck with no height issues.
