Because boston speakers suck. I had 6inch in my doors and 6x9 in the back, and those were pieces of shit. I found better ones at walmart for 24 dollars. This amp sounds great.

one of the worst sounding amps i have ever owned. all this amp puts out is distortion. it sounds terrible. i thought it was my factory speakers at first but i added a pair of boston acoustics s95 6x9 with the same result. maybe its my factory head unit but still an amp should sound decent. stay far away from this amp.

does its job for the money. i would recomend this anyone just trying to get a decent setup. it is really light however. unless you bolt it down it's gonna move a lot on yah.
