The WS1000 features a polypropylene woofer cone, which is both lightweight and rigid and is designed to deliver an accurate and detailed bass response. Its rubber surround also helps control the subwoofer's movement and reduce distortion, while its steel frame provides a sturdy and stable platform for the subwoofer.
The WS1000 has a peak power handling capacity of 800 watts and an RMS power handling capacity of 200 watts, which means it can deliver high volumes of deep, powerful bass without distortion. Its Selectable Smart Impedance switch allows you to change the subwoofer’s impedance from either 2 or 4 ohms, depending on the amplifier you are using.

Replaced my Kicker sub with this JBL, and I'm running it with an Alpine amp. really sounds better than the Kicker. very boomy even with its shallow design. what I love more is that you can either set it up at 2 or 4 ohms, which is a great feature that will allow you to be flexible when you need to upgrade in the future.
