I got a pair of these installed in my car back in '08. I often get asked if I have a 10 in the trunk. I just tell them that it's just these pair of 6x9's. I would recommend these speakers to anyone that wants a good bass sound, but don't want to get a sub. The highs are good from these soundstreams as well.

Ok, I bought a second pair for the rear deck and installed them this week. All I can say is WOW. These play loud and clear, and I am hearing details in my music that I have never heard before. If you are a basshead you will add a subwoofer to these anyway, but the average listener will find there is more than enough clean bass here if you're running 75-100W RMS to these speakers. The clarity is amazing, the bass response is fantastic, and Soundstream Tarantulas do not disappoint. If you own a Chrysler and were thinking about upgrading to the Kicker system, save some $$$ and check these out first!
