| A GREAT amp for the price! i have a kenwood kfc-3012 and this shit bangs. If you are trying to find your first system then buy this amp and the kenwood kfc 3012. | |
| I got two JL Audio 10W6's with dual 6 ohm voice coils in a custom built inclosure and this amp pushes my subs perfect. clear sound and almost two much base ( if there is such a thing ) Keep in mind that i am running this amp with a 1.5 ohm load and have never had a cut out or any other problems with it when it is only rated for a 2 ohm load. I would recomend this amp to anyone with a budget or not | |
| I have this powering two Boston G1 12"s in a large slotted box. Honestly, the box and the amp contribute more to the sound you will hear than the sub itself. With that being said, This amp is a fantastic product. It does not get hot no matter how high i turn it up, and makes my subs vibrate the snow off my rear windshield. I talked to a certified Kenwood dealer about this amp. Honestly, you wont be getting 1000 watts out of it if you hook it up stock as is. You need a capacitor and some low gauge wire (2 or 4) to deliver the full 13-14 volts from the battery. Without that, you'll be feeding it 12V and will honestly only get about 600 watts max. add the capacitor and you'll be able to bump it up to 800 max. But nevertheless, this is still a fantastic buy, worth every penny. | |
