|I have Alpine in my car because I think its quality. I'm only feeding these subs 500w tru RMS's and its good for my setup. BTW the accompaning voice is 4 Beymas and 2 Cresendo's and i'm telling you 2 of these get low.|

I bought this sub thinking it was the best sub for the money. I was correct for about a month until it started clipping and popping. I had this sub powered by a Jl 600V2 amp which was at 2 ohms running 600 true RMS. Shortly after having it for a month and allowing it to break in, it was running hot and eventually started popping and clipping. I had the gain.set at 1/4 up and it still gave out. I have not taken it out of its prefabricated ported box yet to inspect it but I am so disappointed in Alpine. I had 2 15 Orion subs in a ported box with a 1200w Sony Xplode amp and i had 0 issues with that setup.
