The Oz Martix Power Series high excursion subwoofers are an SPL lovers dream come true. They use a massive U.S. made 260oz triple stacked magnet assembly with a show chrome finished backplate and top plate. Also used is a dual super-strong 8" diameter progressive roll cotton/polyester blend spider assembly with the silver tinsel lead wires woven into the top spider.
The cone body and dome assemblies are constructed out of triple-pressed Kevlar impregnated fiber composite material, which delivers the highest strength for maximum performance. The cone edge is termintated with a proprietary 1.5" wide treated foam surround.
This magnificent subwoofer uses a 3" 4-layer copper voice coil wound on an aluminum former with hi-temp resin overlay to increase heat dissipation.

|Some people don't know what sub bass SHOULD sound like. Low end extention into the bottom octaves is amazing. This thing plays solid well below 20Hz. I'm currently running this subwoofer in a 2.8 cubic foot sealed enclosure with approximately 480 watts. Loud enough to hit the IASCA Sound Quality SPL cap of 135dB. Love it! A bit pricey though.|
