Alpine has been in the industry for years..sound is staged right on target in my Rover
i have these in my 2001 gmc serria and they made a big differance in my front staging i loved the surface mount kit with the tweeter it worked out great

I have these speakers in my 03 RAV4. My first impression? WOW, i like the way they sound, the tweeter is great and the bass is excellent from a 6.5" speaker. Im just powering them w/ 40W RMS each. If you want a great speaker then get these! Im very satisfied w/ my purchase.
they are an expensive set, considering they only push 50 watts. But they do sound very professional and clean, especially at higher volume levels. I was impressed by the tweeters; they are more powerful than I thought they would be, and they sound good and clear - not annoying and scratchy like lower quality tweeters sound... Alpine is arguably the best car audio brand in ewxistence, and these components live up to expectations.
I HAVE HAD INFINITI, MOMO, KENWOOD AND JL AUDIO. THESE DEFINATELY GIVE THE BEST TWEETER SOUND OF THE BRANDS I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST; BUT THE DRIVER IS HORRIBLE. TO GET A GOOD RATING YOU NEED MORE THAN DEEP BASS, WHICH THESE DRIVERS DO NOT OFFER. A SNARE DRUM IS ALMOST UNHEARD. NOT ACCEPTABLE OF A SPEAKER IN THIS PRICE BRACKET. I SUGGEST JL AUDIO.
Hello , from Greece I have this from 2002 and Iam very satisfied . The sound quality is the best , but I have a problem now with a woofer and I can't fix it and I can't found another woofer to replace it .Are anyone outhere to help me because the Alpine SPR 176A is one of the best pair car speaker Iever heard, and I don't want to change it.
