I've used the Utopia's at previous time.But this components beat it so easilly.This is the best sound i've ever heard.

If you are an audiophile, This is for you. Hands Down winner! Boston Ac, Infinity, and Bose don't come even close. Those sounded harsh and metallic. These speakers are warm and do not fatigue your ears.
MB Quarts are the best. Defenitley the best investement you can make in components, as they will not lose their value, even if they´re used. They are also the best speakers i have ever heard in my life

i have owned 2 pairs of these components for over 6 months and have NOT been impressed with the sound quality. they are way overpriced and overrated! do your research before you buy these and listen to a wide variety of high end components. in my opinion there are alot of better buys out there.
mb quart is the best component manufacturer on the planet, so maybe the reason some people think that they sound bad is because they are under powering them with either a factory head unit or even just an aftermarket one. hook an amp up to it which has and an RMS wattage of 90, and then say that it sounds bad..
When I bought this component along with a pair of 5.25 MB Quarts, my pockets were $1,300 lighter after installation costs. Let me say I didn't think a car stereo could sound so loud and clear. I put these suckers in my new Acura TSX along with a 13" JL Audio Subwoofer and a 5 Channel Soundstream AMP and my system is banging. If you like a crisp clear sound you won't go wrong with these babies.
All I want to say is these pair of speakers rocks.Sound quality is impressive and like someone here never been happy with set of speakers in my life but these.Highly recommended
Everybody that knows about speakers know that MB Quart always do great speakers that many other try to do but they can. Just get this, you'll never be happier with a set of speakers.
I have owned many different systems in my life and my HANDS DOWN FAVORITE are the MB QUARTZ. They are phenominal. The crispest and clearest components on the market. No matter what you listen to, Beehtoven or Biggie, they are the best. Put on some classical music and crank them up when your parked and listen to how crystal clear they are. Its like having a symphony in your back seat. AWESOME PRODUCT and worth every penny.
I purchased these used, so I didn't pay $1000 like some folks did. I paid more like $300. The set I got were very good condition. The sound is very relaxed and well behaved. I think the vocals suffer in the lower medium high frequency. If you place them in the doors, they are difficult to bring the stage up. the highs do fine in the dash or upper area, but the vocals stuck in the mids are not easy to bring up. Also, I am running a pair of Reference series in the rear seating area. The fronts are Biamped, and DSP EQed. While the rears are on a Passive crossover with a 2 ch amp. The rears sound slightly better tamed and adjusted for full sound. So, either this is the charactoristic of the QSD's or my flat line in tuning is missing something, or my ears are playing tricks on me. The latter is some real observations. I listened to the same track, and night is sounded uncomfortable and strained, while in the AM, it was super nice. If you listen for longer periods of time, and depending on the persons ears, they will fatigue over time.
