I own a pair of these monsters. This is a very powerful sub. I have a MTX 1501 on each sub. Go far it and turn it up!
I own 4 of these puppys and have a MTX 1501 dual Bridge amp on each sub. I've been turned into the POLICE department for city noise violations.These DAMB things barely fit in the trunk of my 1972 427 nova really get your bang for the buck.They have better performance if you put them in a 3/4 particle board ported enclosure with 4 subs in it or how ever many subs you buy or want. The bass is more gronud shakeing than seprate ported enclosure.Because the power of the subbs increases when you have more than one subb. The air that the subb prouduces works like a air spring making bass levels Higher and distortion that the human ear can't detect with some pollyfill or 3 inch fiber glass insulation in your box. I'M 26 years old and have installed more than 20 car auido systems an have learned from some spendy errors. I suggest the 18 inch 03CVR18 kicker to anyone who wants the finest system with the most bass you've ever possibly drempt aboutr friends will envy you . You can crank these things so loud even when your Drivin around or at a stop light to show off your new system to the car full of girs next to you that your Battery fries and your car dies at the stoplight and the women are laughing at you because your nice car died in the middle of the road and theres 4 cars behind you driving around you and honkin witch by the way happend to me twice. If you want the big BOOOOOOOOOOOM for a cheap cost buy them you will fall in love with them .Good Luck and carry a extra battery with.
I have 9 of these in a van with 1500 watts to each sub, i have people call the law on everytime i bump them.they knock
This is a good sub don't get me wrong but it is too big to sound good. There is too much surface area to more if you want to hear fast bass like in rock or rap songs. very loud but not quality
This is one of the best speakers i have ever heard in my life. I say if you have the money go for it!!!!!

I Have two of these in the back of my '84-LeSabre-Limited(Coupe),and two Punch Bd1000's,pushin'um and i have had to replace my back Glass-twice,and tailights on a regular basis!!! If you want the most Bass for your money, this is it!!!!! oh and by the way make sure you have good set of earplugs!!!! your gonna need'um.
I'm a french basshead and if you want to use 18" subs you had better have the room for them otherwise your s.o.l. this speaker is a good db comp speaker but as far as sq it sucks... I would suggest getting 4-12"'s for $400 which you can find almost anywhere. it would bang alot harder and sound much better!!
