Dont own these yet, but got in a good session with them and the're d@mn good! Compared to the Utopia's the new TN 52 tweeter is not as bright but is still detailed..but the tight bass and the recreation of instruments are this components strengths! But the Utopia still takes the cake for vocals! Focal 165 K2P (aluminum phaze plug)
I have a set of these in the front of my 00' Discovery and am very pleased. They have a real warmth to them when playing vocals and softer music. They will also stay right with my two 15's when I'm playing some 50 cent. I highly recommend these speakers.
I HAVE 165 K2P IN REAR ALPINE 90X2 IT 'S TIGHT and THE FRONT I GOT 165W ALPINE 110X2 ITS A GOOD SOUND SYSTEM I GOT THEM REAL CHEAP!!!
all i can say its the best i have them in my front, rf power amp damn! with 4pc 12inch subs. i rather sleep in my car than my bed listening crisp, clear, lenient sounds....

I LOVE THE SOUND THAT THESE SPEAKERS MAKE... THE POWER HANDLEING SAYS 100 WATTS RMS and 200 WATTS MAX BUT I AM PUSHING AT LEAST 180WATTS RMS WITH AN AUDISON 2.250 I BELEIVE THAT THEY SPEAKERS ARE HIGH QUALIUTY and THE COST IS REALY CHEAP.....TOP KNOCH#1
If you want the best you have to pay for it. And this is it. These make all music sound unbeleiveable, just when your blown away by intense female vocals and feel this is the purest sq speaker ever, you hit with intense midbass from a hard rock/rap song. Paried with my access in the rear(5.25)and a 13inch focal sub, the system in unreal. I had the acess upfornt and let me tell u. i started with stock speaker and got audiobanhs top of the line. There's the same difference between stock and audiobahn as between audiobahn and access. and twice that difference between acess and k2. you won't be disappointed but bring your wallet and checkbook for these guys.
