These are awesome speakers. They have great highs to go along with the boming bass. I have a system in my car and i dont need any tweeters because these speakers are loud enough!!!
TRhese are incredible speakers. I kept one tweeter in the frame and mounted the other high on the rear pillar aimed at me. Awesome sound
not the performance i expected out of rock. this model is more for the average consumer. they tend to fade at high volumes. and they can not take as much power as they are rated to.
Well, I'm not sure why Wes had the trouble he did but mine have performed phenomenally. I've been feeding them between 60 and 70 watts for a few months now and they sound awesome. They can even be clearly heard over the two P3 15's and two P3 10's I have in the car! If you're looking for a nice component speaker or a better coaxial speaker with a crossover, these are it.
These are the best speakers out there for the buck. I have 2 p3 12" an these still bring out the vocals, even if u take out the sub these still provide enough bass to shake your mirrors around.
i am looking for a nice set of component speakers for bother the front and rear for my car. i heard that these do not sound as good when mounted in the door panels. any opinions on that? also-im looking for a nice pair for the rear. im leaning towards the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1692S. any suggestions? i currently have 2 p3s running off of a 1600w kenwood excelon 25th aniv. amp.
Been sending them 100 watts each for a year. they sound great. the speakers sound fine in doors. you can hear the tweeters struggle when u blast it. i'm gonna try to solve the problem by keeping the tweeters by the woofer and getting 4 inch speakers for my dash
Use these in rear deck.1 tweeter at woofer the other remote high on the rear pillar. These fill the space perfectly. Have been feeding them 90watts RMS for over 2 years and they haven't flinched. Have Massive CK6 Stage3 component speakers in the doors and a trusty Bazooka tube in the trunk. I paid over $300.00 a few years ago... I would buy them again.
