Bought and running this subwoofer at 4 ohms thousand watts until i get the 1 ohm setup with 2400 watts max. The subwoofer is definitely worth the money, but is killer when hooked up to a powerful amp. enough to give you a headache at just a thousand watts in the matter of seconds. I have it in a 3 cubic foot ported box and it moves so much air!!! if you can afford, definitely go for this sub and a powerful amp, wont be disappointed!

I have 2 of these subs hooked up on to a sony old school reciever in my living room and with only 300 watts at 4 ohms running through these, they are beats! They shake my whole house and my cars sitting outside too. I definately recommend these to anyone and am putting them into a car as soon as i get an amp.

I had 2 of these in my 2002 Silverado ext cab in a slot ported box that took up the whole back half. An I had them drop to 1 ohm on a 5500 watt kole audio 1 channel 1 ohm amp. Within the first full deep note they hit the back glass and passenger black glass exploded made my heart drop. Ended up having to use Lexin back window to keep them from busting again!! Badass eff'n subs without a doubt!!!
