    These are an excellent set for the money, a much better buy than mainstreams brands (Polk, Infinity, etc.) in this price range. The midrange sounds fairly warm and natural. The aluminum tweeters produce very clean and detailed treble, if a little on the bright side. If you find that the tweeters are too bright, there is a jumper on the crossovers that allows them to be attenuated by -2dBs. The midbass is somewhat lacking, but that is mostly because my doors aren't completely deadened and sealed. With a reasonable high-pass filter, these components can also take a lot of power without loosing their cookies. Put about 100 watts RMS or more to them and prepare to be blown away!
