Needs a long time of breaking in. Powered it with just 300W (half of its rated capability) and sounded bad in the first week. But then slowly got better, then after 3 months or so of alternating days use the output became much more flexible. This is my first experience with a small sub, I've moved on to a JL 3w3, but overall for the price the value of this Lanzar is good. And the enclosure sure does save space.
