Hey guys, I bought these and had them installed in full custom system from Audiowaves here in FL and lemme tellyou for anyone who is after blazing loud mids n highs this is the pair i guarentee it! These things get louder than anything i have ever owned including alpine or jl's and they DO NOT distort at all... I highly recommend these speakers and have had no issues at all. And when profesionally instlled you get a 2 year warranty. So again if you got the money go with 2 sets of these along with a Boston Acoustics GT-40 amp and you will be solid in the mids n highs game.
These are some, if not, the best 6.5/6.75's I have ever owned. The tweeters are very bright, so I will need to make an adjustment there. I have seen these priced as high as $600. They are not worth that. Don't pay more than $300 or so. I have these in the front and MB Quarts in the back with a 12" sub. They blow the MB Quarts away!
Absolutely fantastic!! Exceptional vocals, crystal clear highs, superb build quality. Absolutely the most realistic car speakers I have ever heard. Using a JL 4/500 for power and the combination gives me goose bumps. Simply oustanding!!
Nice speakers but, highs can be a bit aggressive. They have great mid bass and could handle the full spectrum if needed. May fit best with really bass heavy system needing definition. Great definition in mid/highs,flush-mount hardware makes no sense.
Great set of speakers... a little on the vocal side, but can be tuned. Tweeter is bright... midbass is very repsonsive... I recommend for heavy bass setups
I've only had these for about 3 weeks and so far they kick ass! I have an Alpine 4 x 150 hooked up and they sound pretty sweet. I had 50w rms blaupunkt until I blew them up and I thought they sounded pretty decent. These BA's sound awesome. Highs are nice and clear and they seem to handle a decent amount of bass. No comparison whatsoever. Maybe my hearing is going, but I set my front speakers to 0db on the tweeters and I think they sound great. I set my back door set to the middle level and am thinking about moving them to the highest tweeter level. As they break in I think they're starting to sound even batter. I don't think you can go wrong buying these here. Crutchfield wants 600 bucks a pair. If you have enough expertise to install and set them up, then save your money and order from onlinecarstereo. Actually all my gear except for the wiring is from this website. I dropped about 2000 to 2300 bucks here for my setup and at Crutchfield were talking 3000 to 3500 for the same shit. I'm very happy. Will continue to upgrade my system shopping right here.
