This deck will just about own all other decks that you may have owned before. The clarity even with my stock car speakers (infinity) is amazing, now I can't wait to get some components for the front and some good 6x9's for the rear and I'll be set for years to come. This is absolutly the best deck that I have owned, over JVC,Kenwood,Sony,Pioneer.

This Deck is penny for penny the best buy for overall performance! Sure it doesn't have dolphins or cool screens, but all those decks just have pretty faces it's whats under the hood that matters, and believe me this unit has some serious horsepower, especially at the price Online Car Stereo is offering it for how could you say no??? Two of my local Stereo Dealers have this priced at $530 and the other is at $499, if this is your first car stereo purchase don't go small start off with power and that is exactly what the cda-9815 is offering, Alpine is quality and you can trust all there products, If you want the best then buy the best.
This is a great head unit. Lots of power by itself and very versatile if you use all 3 preamp outs. So many ways to tweak and shimmy the sound to your liking. Plays MP3's just great. The bass boost that's controllable through the unit works very well, no need to have a remote on the sub amp since the HU does it all. The remote control is a nice feature for adjusting the volume and changing channels without having to look at the unit and away from the road. All around great unit, would recommend to anyone with the budget for it. Using Diamond Audio M661 up front, Infinity KAPPA462.5cfp in rear, Diamond Audio CM312D4 sub and Phoenix Gold Octane-R 9.0:5 amp. Absolutely sweet.
if u want a mp3 player this one is the best the media xpander is like a heaven sent for poorly ripped mp3s
If you want to have the best you will have do dish out some "Dough" but it is worth it. Right after you install this Head Unit you will notice better sound. Even with stock speakers you will hear a complete turn around in sound quality.

This Head Unit is just a dream. It plays CDs and MP3s like no other. I have it hooked up to a pretty simple setup of 2 RF HX2 10's, 2 focal 6'' up front, and 2 Pioneer Premier TS 6x9s in the back in a 2001 Honda Accord. Subs are powered by a RF 1051s, pushing 525 each channel. Add the MX bass from the HU, and wow. Max volume is 35 on this, but @ 22 the entire block can already hear me coming. This deck is definitely worth every single penny.
This unit would be a bargain at $700. No flashy customizable display, but it does everything you need it to do,and does it very well. There are so many ways to tweak the sound, you can make anything sound good. Buy it, you won't regret it.
