I will say this,no it does not have EQ on it but for the money and performance of it.This Alpine is worth every penny.The sound quality is just out this world.

I had a stock deck in my car before and the sound was aweful, but when I got the new deck I couldn't believe what I had been missing. It was well worth the money.
This head unit does not put out enough watts. I LOVE ALPINE and all my car is filled with is ALPINE products, but the head unit just didnt meet my expectations. There isnt enough space to show titles and no equalizer. And you have to go through to many options to get to the time
This is a nice deck but it is kind of boring compared to one you can get for $50 dollars more and get the swing face. Other than that it is pretty awesome.
For me, I think that this unit provides all the fetures one could really need to run an awesome system. For the money this is one of the best units you can buy.
This is the best cd receiver by far. I love it.
I have this deck hooked to 2 rockford punch amps(p-4004,p-3001) and running jbls power series 6x9 and 6.5 co-axials with 2 clarion pro audio 10" carbon fibre subs in a 2000 intrepid...UNBELIEVABLE SOUND QUALITY. I have been into car audio since 1984 and this system sounds better than any I have ever had at 3x the price. Keep it simple and don't put a lot of processors in between your head and amps. For under 1200.00 you can be in sonic heaven everytime you get in your car. Have fun and vote for Kerry.
I rated this a 7 for lack of eq, but as far as the rest of this awesome machine,w o w, crisp, clean, tight. If you are a cd changer(i constantly change cds when i'm in the car)like me then you don't want a flip face. This is perfect.

It's an alpine!!Crisp,clear, quality sound. If you're a real audiophile, your processor is a separate unit. If you're not, get a pioneer. No EQ, so what? It does what it's suppose to do, and does it well!!
AWESOME HEADUNIT!!! I just got it and WOW!!! I am speechless with the improvement in sound quality. There are just so many options to work with and the folders for your mp3 players is very easy to go through. VERY NICE for the price!

nothing wrong with the way it sounds......great. it should have an EQ but it doesnt. it has 3 pre-amps outs which i use so i dont know how the internal amp sounds. the dimming feature doesnt work on mine but i dont really mind.
alpine 9827 in one of the best HU from his class.Much better then clarion,sony,jvc and even pioneer.
Just got it. Free installation. Great price for the features it has. Awesome sound. Who cares if it doesn't have an EQ.
Great stereo its the best i've ever had i've had mine for at least 4 years and i've never been disappointed.
