Good speakers for the price. They do measure 7.5 from the outside of the grill. Overall they have a good sound and will handle a 100W RMS which is better than most. I am very satified.
For the price these are a great deal. I just have them hooked up to a average car stereo but they are much better than I expected them to be. I would suggest them.
