The AVA1204 is a high-fidelity signal processor/preamplifier that that allows you to graphically view and individually control a number of different frequency bands in a stereophonic system. It is intended for use in a car audio system which includes amplifiers in the signal path after the equalizer, and provides front, rear, and subwoofer low level outputs via RCA connectors. The AVA1204 consists of several audio filters, each centered at a specific frequency in the audio range. It enables you to cut or boost the output level by up to 12 decibels as desired at the following frequencies: 60Hz, 150Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 3kHz, 6kHz, or 15kHz. In addition, the subwoofer channel level can be controlled independently and either 50Hz or 150Hz can be selected as the center frequency for the bass level control.
This is a good product and is pretty cheap. So if you have any choice for a EQ by this one from Boss.
If your looking for just a little improvement to your system, this equalizer will do it for you! The best thing about it is not very many people have an equalizer and don't know the difference in clearity you get out of one! The best part about this item is the cheap ass price. But if price doesn't bother you, try the 5 band equalizer from kenwood, that's what really catches attention!
i just bought this product :boss 1204,i received it today,i hooked it up and was very happy with the productmay not be the best e.q. but if you know what your doing you can make the smallest and cheapest product sound good... It's a good buy!!!
I just recently purchased one of these myself. I hooked it up in my talon. It cleared my mids and highs up and the subs hit twice as hard as they did. Definately worth the money i paid for it. Lets just hope it lasts. lol
