I bought this from another site but everything was fine with the product except one thing, it does not charge the battery. This is a genuine Pioneer product but when I plug my 2nd yen iPod touch, I get an alert that says this accessory does not support charging. This I thought was the single most important feature. Other than that it works fine on my pioneer DEH-P5900ib. Possibly I'm too dumb to figure it out. Good product though.
With the avic d3, and a 3rd gen Ipod Nano, it definately does not charge the battery. Completely retarded if you ask me. I listened to about 3 hours of music in 3 days and the battery died.
Cable is good quality as far as sound and material, but without charging the battery, it is useless if you ask me.
I had this on my Pioneer head unit and it kept my first gen Itouch charged constantly, worked good amazing sonud quality.
I use it with the Ipod Touch and it is absolutely amazing it charges and allows me full touch screen intergration
Makes use of your ipod so much easier, especially if you have a remote! But sadly, it does not charge the 3rd generation nano :( Other than that, its great! On my pioneer deck, you can scroll through your playlists and names of songs, artists and everything! Great product, its just behind on the 3rd gen stuff!!!
