All my music is in MP3 format, so it's nice that I can finally use USB sticks and CDs full of my favorite music. I was holding out for a unit that did OGGs too, but I don't think it's worth waiting any longer at this price. Checkout the RMS speaker output wattage and preout voltage compared to the competition at this price range.. hard to beat!
Really great piece of equipment. I could not be happier with the sound quality and features. It has so many features that I am still learning them all. Love the fact that it can use USB flash drives. I have 2 2GB flash drives with about 250 mp3's each. I never run out of music to listen to. No hassles of changing CD's. Love also how it shows the names of the songs. I could not find a better price anywhere around.
This was an easy install on my Pathfinder. Sounds GREAT w/ 4 4x6s @ 160 watts each. Takes a little time to get used to controls and settings. The remote helps a lot. I couldn't be more pleased w/ price sound and install!
i have one of these in a 2003 dodge ram with 2 alpine 6/9 and 5 1/4 and wow what a improvement in sound but the only bad part in the controls of the reciever but still really good reciever for the price
this cd player combined with the 7204 1000w amp and the 1200w woofers and the 500w 6x9s sounds so freekin sweet i have all this in a 87 camaro and it slams so hard that i have rattled both the windows out of their tracks i have had mixed components sound systems before and now i am a firm believer that if your gonna go with kenwood then stick with kenwood from the deck to the tweeters to the subs because i have never heard such superior sound quality as ai have with full same brand components but kenwood takes the cake
great buy! super easy install. i specifically bought this bc it had 3 preouts. i needed one for my sub and 2 so i could run a MITSRCVR cable to my factory amp. i saved a lot of time/money with this instead of removing the factory amp and rewiring everything.
