i own 2 of these and one 5000.1 soundstorm, the sound comin out of my buick roadmaster is incredible. i have ownd several high named equipment and trust these babies will do the job anyday. i might buy 2 more and another 5000. WELL WORTH THE MONEY
MONSTER.. seriously.. i know how it feels to search and search and search for a good quality sub, simply look no further. i have 1 of these in my accord running with a kicker 1500.1 and it is the best combo.. it hits better than anything i've had b4.. i like LOUD but this is TOO LOUD... but still.. i have to putting 1 more back there ; )
I had 1 if these in a 95 Lexus ES 300 and let me tell this sub is the best. I've had some other systems (JL, Rockford, Sony Pioneer, and Kenwood) and it was by far the best sub I've ever owned. My homeboy has a L7 15 and I hit just as hard as he did. I ran it on a 1400 watts rms MMatts amp. Now I can Decide if I want 2 of these of 2 L7's. Any suggestions....
these subs out slamm 99% of everybody and everything else if u put them in the right box and feed them enough power. i got 3 and movin up to 4
I ran Planets and Memphis for years, while I am a huge JL fan I have to say Planets are great, but it depends on what your looking for. With use of the bigbangs your bass will seem louder in the vehicle, but will not carry as far. If you want to be heard a few blocks away then I would consider another brand.
it doesnt take more subwoofers to produce more sound, considering that 90% of your speakers sound is the box. if you actually correctly build a box, i guarentee 1 of these planet audio subwoofers will out do any other. especially in a sedan such as honda prelude
I had this speaker on a 3000 watt d class boss amplifier. It was really impressive with how loud and deep the bass was, my only problem was it only lasted 4 months it's a decent sounding sub but doesn't last long at all. P.S I only drive my car about 2 hours a week so it was barely even used
