Purchased for the "low profile" depth for limited space installation. The difference in regular depth subs vs. this sub isn't all that significant, but it was enough to properly fit the box. Sound quality is pretty decent, but probably is better in a ported vs. sealed box. Solid subwoofer for the price. No real complaints.
