JL Audio XD700/5v2 utilizes its in-house NexD Switching technology, which uses a self-oscillating modulator to cancel out the noise that comes from the power supply voltage fluctuation. It also has an Advanced Rollback Protection System, which turns down the amp's peak output until it cools down and reaches its safe operating temperature to avoid unnecessary shutdowns. It is also equipped with differential-balanced inputs designed to protect the amplifier from the noise of typical car audio wiring setups.
The JL Audio XD700/5v2 can deliver a power output of 75 Watts RMS in its four channels and 180 Watts RMS in its subwoofer channel at 4 ohms. It can also handle a continuous power output of 100 Watts in its four channels and 300 Watts in its subwoofer channel at 2 ohms.
The amplifier's Channel 1 and 2 has variable high-pass filter from 50 to 5000 Hz, while channel 3 and 4 have variable high-pass and bandpass filters from 50 to 500 Hz. Lastly, JL Audio XD700/5v2’s subwoofer channel has a low-pass filter from 50 to 500 Hz. These controls allow you to have a more defined audio quality performance from the amplifier.
