Each amp comes ready to work with almost any radio or receiver — no complicated gain control adjustments are necessary. A selectable high-pass filter lets you tune the sound to fit your speakers. You'll also find an input impedance switch, which you can use to match the amp's input to the output of a receiver capable of driving 2-ohm loads.
A rubber switch cover prevents dirt and water from getting inside and doing any damage. With the cover in place, the amp carries an IPX6 water intrusion rating, which means it'll tolerate getting sprayed but not submerged.
