Designed to Withstand Elements
Their one-piece polymer basket is designed to stand the test of time, even after long exposure to the sun and salt. Rubber surrounds offer superior edge protection and are much more reliable than foam. And a grille-mounted tweeter allows the front of the woofer cone to be sealed, protecting the motor structure from sea spray.

Features:
- Tweeters: The balanced dome tweeters are bridge mounted to the grilles, rather than to a pole piece, thus there is no chance of water leaking through the woofer cone.
- LED Illumination: Integrated into each grille, on the back of the tweeter casing is a red/green/blue LED assembly, to create a glow on the woofer cone. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on; depending on what combination of LED wires is connected, they light red, green, blue, yellow, purple, aquamarine, or white. A 4-wire pigtail is provided for supplying power to the built-in LEDs.
- Size: With a required cutout diameter of approximately 5", these speakers fit into the openings for standard 6-1/2" car speakers, but the frame is much bigger than a typical 6-1/2" and the screw hole pattern is different. Because the grille is not designed to be removed, the mounting height is also greater than most car speakers. For these reasons, the speakers won't fit in most car applications.
