Why Choose Alpine KTX-H12 Subwoofer Accessory?
Unique Prolink™ Design
When you’re looking to make a noticeable impact in your sound system, you add a subwoofer that will bring out the low ends of your music. But what if you already have a single subwoofer and still crave more bass? You could throw out your single enclosure and purchase a new dual enclosure or you can build your bass with Alpine's new ProLink™ technology. The KTX-H12 Linking Kit features ProLink™ technology and allows you to link two Single 12” Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures together to create a dual subwoofer enclosure. Now you have the flexibility in power and price to use a single subwoofer or add another subwoofer when more bass is desired.
Matching System Design
The KTX-H12 was designed for both function and form. The sturdy metal hardware follows the outline of the enclosure ports and links two Single 12” Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures together to create a dual subwoofer-enclosure. To create a seamless installation look, the KTX-H12 shares the same clean, silver finish as the enclosures and features a stainless steel Alpine badge on the top of the bracket.
Sturdy Installation
Adding another Single 12" Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure is easy with the KTX-H12 Linking Kit. The KTX-H12 includes a steel rear link bracket and a front port link brace that mount to the back and front of the enclosures, respectively, for a sturdy, dual-subwoofer application.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- • What is this accessory used for?
It is designed to simplify the installation and mounting of compatible Alpine subwoofer systems. Using the correct accessory helps ensure a secure fit and factory-style appearance.
- • Will this fit every Alpine subwoofer enclosure?
No, it is intended for specific compatible Alpine subwoofer applications. Always verify vehicle and product compatibility before ordering.
- • Can I install this accessory myself?
Yes, if you have experience with basic vehicle interior disassembly and audio installation. Professional installation is recommended if modifications or precise alignment are required.
- • Why doesn't the accessory line up with the mounting points?
This is usually caused by using it with an incompatible vehicle or subwoofer system. Double-checking the application guide will help confirm the correct fit.
- • Does using this accessory improve subwoofer performance?
Its primary purpose is to provide proper mounting rather than increase sound output. A secure installation can help minimize unwanted vibrations and rattles.
- • Will I need to drill new holes during installation?
Many compatible applications are designed to use factory mounting locations. Installation requirements may vary depending on the vehicle and subwoofer configuration.
- • Why does my subwoofer still rattle after installation?
Loose mounting hardware, interior trim, or wiring may be causing the vibration instead of the accessory itself. Tightening all hardware and securing nearby panels usually solves the problem.
- • Can this accessory be reused if I upgrade my subwoofer later?
It can be reused if your new equipment is compatible with the same mounting system. Otherwise, a different accessory may be required for proper installation.
- • Will it interfere with cargo space inside my vehicle?
It is designed to integrate with compatible installations while minimizing the impact on usable cargo space. The exact amount of space used depends on your vehicle and enclosure.
- • Is this accessory worth buying instead of making custom brackets?
Yes, it provides a cleaner installation and is engineered specifically for compatible Alpine systems. Most users prefer the factory-style fit and easier installation over fabricating custom mounting hardware.

Smart accessory for Alpine. Just a little bit expensive for what it does though.
