Data Interface with SWC

It allows you to control certain car audio functions, such as volume or source selection, with the buttons on your vehicle's steering wheel. This feature is enabled by connecting a data interface device between the car audio head unit and the vehicle's steering wheel control. The data interface device is typically a small box that allows signals from the steering wheel control buttons to be sent to the car audio head unit.
