The radio looks nice, works well, and wasn't too hard to install. To be honest, no installation is a beginner task-there are always extra pieces to try to cover several scenarios, there's always minimal instructions written in poor English, and you have to pray someone else has recorded an install and put it on YouTube. If I hadn't have installed a radio in another truck last year this would've taken me hours to figure out with the lack of information provided. And that company offered free installation videos, 24hr live customer support, and they sent you detailed instructions on how to install the unit in your vehicle (provided you gave them correct info) so there were no wires to crimp or solder, just connections to make. The biggest issue I have with this one is how it sits in the housing/face plate. I installed the radio in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, and only the original radio's brackets worked (neither of the other two sent from the company came close to fitting) which results in the radio being recessed about 3mm-4mm from the face plate. It is unattractive and makes the buttons, volume knob and USB port hard to get to, so I'm going to try taking it all apart and adding some washers to hopefully push the brackets out so the radio is flush against the face plate. I realize it is hard to prepare for all installation situations, but this one needs some more workshopping if you have a similar set up to me.
