The US-10 brackets support multiple mounting positions, so choose the bottom or rear configuration that best matches your vehicle before securing the box.
- • Why can't I confirm if this enclosure fits my UTV?
Although the US-10 is marketed as universal, SSV Works does not guarantee fitment for every vehicle. Measure your available space before ordering.
- • Why won't my 10-inch subwoofer fit even though it's the correct size?
Different 10-inch drivers have different mounting depths and cutout dimensions. The US-10 supports up to 7.8 inches of mounting depth.
- • Why does the subwoofer sound weaker than expected in this box?
The enclosure has approximately 0.73 ft³ of internal volume, so the installed woofer should be suited to that airspace. An enclosure that is too small for a driver can limit low-frequency performance.
- • What should I check if the enclosure starts rattling?
Inspect the mounting screws, brackets, and vibration-absorption pads. Loose hardware can become especially noticeable when the subwoofer is playing heavy bass.
- • Why is the subwoofer wiring difficult to reach after installation?
Connect the enclosure's positive and negative speaker wires to the subwoofer terminals before permanently mounting the woofer and enclosure.
- • Can I use the US-10 with an amplifier from another brand?
Yes. SSV Works says the SSV plug can be removed and the enclosure wires connected directly to an aftermarket amplifier.
- • Is the enclosure completely waterproof?
SSV Works describes it as weatherproof, not fully waterproof. Protect the subwoofer connections and wiring from prolonged direct water exposure.
- • Why does the enclosure interfere with nearby vehicle parts?
Because the box is universal, available clearance varies by vehicle. Test-fit the enclosure and bracket position before drilling or tightening everything permanently.
- • Does the US-10 come with everything needed to power the subwoofer?
No. The enclosure can be purchased loaded or unloaded, but an amplifier is not included. A properly matched amplifier is required to power the subwoofer.
