- • Will this Stealthbox enclosure fit under the driver side seat of my Maverick X3?
No. The "P" in the part number indicates it is molded strictly for the passenger-side floor pan layout. For the driver side, you must source the companion driver-specific model ("D" suffix).
- • Why does the passenger seat vibrate violently or feel uncomfortable when the bass hits?
Because the enclosure bolts directly to the seat frame structure, mechanical energy transfers straight into the cushion. Lowering the amplifier's sub-bass gain or applying rubber isolating washers around the mounting bolts can minimize the physical vibration.
- • Is the speaker inside safe if water pools on the passenger floorboard during a wash or deep crossing?
Yes, the fiberglass body is 100% waterproof and sealed. However, you must avoid spraying a high-pressure hose directly into the speaker grille opening to prevent forcing moisture past the woofer cone surround.
- • What final wiring load does this box present to my amplifier?
The included 10TW3-D4 driver is internally pre-wired in parallel for a 2-ohm mono load. Make sure your amplifier is explicitly rated to deliver its power safely into a 2-ohm stability limit.
- • Why am I having trouble aligning the mounting holes with my factory passenger seat frame?
UTV frames often flex slightly from trail use, or dirt buildup can block the bolt holes. Loosen the surrounding seat frame hardware first, align the Stealthbox bolts, and hand-tighten everything before a final torque down.
- • Will this fit if I have installed aftermarket passenger seats or lower seat bases?
It is engineered specifically for the dimensions of the OEM passenger seat rails. If you use aftermarket race seats or metal lowering brackets, the reduced clearance will likely cause the seat to pinch or rub against the box.
- • Why does my bass sound weak, hollow, and rattle when accelerating down the trail?
This is usually caused by loose mounting hardware allowing the fiberglass enclosure to physically bounce against the chassis. Ensure all mounting bolts are locked down tight to seal the box firmly against the floor pan.
