Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- • Why does the sound distort at high volume?
Clipping, excessive gain, or insufficient amplifier power can cause distortion. Proper gain adjustment and clean power help maintain clear output.
- • What amplifier power should I use?
Each speaker is rated at 400 watts RMS and 4 ohms. Use a properly matched amplifier that provides clean power without clipping.
- • Why isn't the bass as deep as expected?
These tower speakers emphasize strong midbass and projection rather than deep subwoofer frequencies. Crossover settings also affect bass response.
- • Why is one speaker louder than the other?
Check amplifier channels, balance, polarity, wiring, and connectors. Swapping channels can help determine whether the issue follows the speaker.
- • Why aren't the RGB lights working?
Check the RGB controller, power connections, connectors, and wiring. A compatible controller is required to operate the integrated lighting.
- • Will the fixed clamp fit my tower tubing?
The TC3-F clamp is designed for tower tubing from 1-7/8 to 3 inches. Measure the tubing diameter before installation to confirm fitment.
- • How do I keep the clamp from loosening?
Make sure the clamp fits correctly and tighten all mounting hardware securely. Threadlocker on the appropriate bolts can help prevent loosening from vibration.
- • What should I check if there is no sound?
Inspect amplifier output, speaker wiring, connectors, fuses, source settings, and polarity. Loose or incorrect connections can interrupt audio output.
- • Why do I hear rattling when playing music loudly?
Inspect the clamp, mounting bolts, grille, and surrounding tower hardware. Loose components can vibrate noticeably at high volume levels.
- • Can improper RGB wiring cause moisture problems?
Yes. Incorrect wiring or modifications to the clamp can allow moisture inside. Protect the wiring carefully and seal any openings properly.
