Check the amplifier gain, crossover, polarity, and enclosure seal. The 220-US-10 provides about 0.73 ft³ of internal volume, so the installed subwoofer must also suit that airspace.
- • How do I stop the enclosure from vibrating?
Make sure the L-brackets and mounting hardware are tight, and use the supplied vibration-absorption pads between the enclosure and mounting surface.
- • Will this box fit any UTV?
Not automatically. Although it is universal, SSV Works does not confirm fitment for every vehicle, so measure your available space before installing.
- • Can I use a subwoofer from another brand?
Yes, but check the woofer's mounting depth, cutout, impedance, and enclosure requirements first. The maximum mounting depth is 7.8 inches.
- • Why does the bass become distorted when I turn it up?
Excessive amplifier gain or clipping can cause distortion. Lower the gain and retune the crossover before increasing the volume.
- • Does the 220-US-10 include an amplifier?
No. The enclosure can be ordered with or without a subwoofer, but an amplifier is not included.
- • Why does the bass change after moving the enclosure?
