It includes a wired remote switch for manual camera control, requiring power and ground connections. The switch is designed to fit into a cutout opening measuring 0.835" (w) x 1.375" (h) x 2.5" (d), with outer dimensions of 1.0" (w) x 1.9375" (h) x 0.75" (d). Additionally, the kit comes with a wiring harness to connect the camera and remote switch to the vehicle's head unit and 12V battery. This harness requires a +12V accessory and ground connection, linking to the composite video camera input and reverse wire trigger wire of the compatible head unit. The power and ground connection span 16.0', while the composite video camera input connection reaches 14.0'. The reverse trigger wire enables automatic display activation on the head unit's monitor when the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear.
