- • Why don’t the new front speakers fit my RZR dash correctly?
The RZ6-F65KL is vehicle-specific, so verify that your RZR is one of the supported 2025–2026 Pro R, Pro S Sport, or Pro XP models before installation.
- • Can I reuse the factory speaker wiring with these pods?
The pods mount directly in the factory locations, but the existing wiring and connectors should be checked for compatibility before installation rather than assuming every factory harness will connect directly.
- • Why do the speakers sound distorted when I increase the volume?
The Kicker KM65L speakers are rated at 65 watts RMS each, so distortion at high volume can occur if the amplifier is incorrectly matched, gains are set too high, or the signal is being clipped.
- • What could make the RGB lighting stop working while the speakers still play?
The speaker and lighting functions are separate. Check the RGB wiring and lighting connections first if audio works normally but the illumination does not.
- • Why is one front speaker louder than the other after installation?
A loose speaker connection, incorrect balance setting, damaged wiring, or an issue with one amplifier channel can create an uneven left-to-right output. Swap channel connections temporarily to help determine whether the problem follows the speaker or the wiring.
- • Will water exposure damage these front dash speakers?
The pods use weather-resistant construction and are rated IP66 for protection against dust and water jets/splash, but that rating does not mean they should be exposed to high-pressure water at close range.
- • Why do I hear rattling from the dash after installing the speaker pods?
Rattling can result from loose mounting hardware, a panel not seated correctly, or wiring touching the enclosure or dash structure. Recheck the mounting points and secure loose wiring before increasing speaker volume.
- • Can I change the RGB colors without replacing the speakers?
Yes. The integrated RGB lighting can support up to 20 colors and 19 lighting modes when paired with the optional Kicker KMLC controller.
- • Why does the speaker output seem weak compared with a larger aftermarket system?
Each KM65L speaker is rated at 65 watts RMS and 195 watts peak, so achieving maximum output depends heavily on having an amplifier capable of delivering appropriate power to the 4-ohm speakers.
- • What should I check if the speaker works but has no bass?
Check the amplifier crossover, equalizer settings, speaker polarity, and wiring first. Incorrect polarity between the left and right speakers can also reduce perceived bass because portions of the low-frequency output may cancel.
