This Morel 6.5"/6.75" component system delivers precision sound with installation-friendly features. While commonly referred to as 6½", it requires a slightly larger cutout similar to a 6¾" speaker—vehicle fit verification is recommended. The included tweeter adapters allow for flush or surface mounting, with surface mounts angled ~45° for improved sound staging, and flush mounts offering a clean 0.388" height, 0.68" depth, and 1.815" cutout. Surface mount tweeters measure 1.45" high, 2.125" wide, and 2.7" deep. Precision outboard crossovers feature screw-terminal inputs/outputs (0.315") and optimized 600Hz and 3.3kHz crossover points with 12dB/octave slopes. Tweeter output is adjustable via jumper at 0dB or +3dB, and the compact crossover housing (3.9" × 1.26" × 3.28") ensures easy installation in any setup.
