I got these to upgrade my stock stereo on my '93 Grand Cherokee. Excellent base response with a fine high end. Overall very happy with my choice.

very nice set of coaxials. good bass response and wonderful high reproduction. i installed these in my doors of my 87 K5 Blazer, and am very happy with the sound quality.
Replaced the factory speakers in my 1993 Jeep with these, awsome clarity great base.
i have 4 of these running off a 40x4 alpine amp in my 97 sentra. Sound quality is excellent and produces some killer bass, but is lacking some high end reproduction. at normal listening levels everything sounds perfect, but as the volume increases the tweeter begins to sound somewhat muffled and blurry. For the money this speaker is excellent and i would recommend it to all types of music listeners.
I have tryed and tryed to get a good speaker, and these are it, im going to pick up the 6"x9" 3 ways just likes these soon.
these alpine are no comparison to the rockford fosgate (not saying Rockford any bad i got a 10" fosgate 2003/2 or something reat subwoofer but the new fosgates no affence suck. Well back to my original topic the rockford doesnt fave any chance against the new alipes plus the fosfgates usally cost $250 canadian and the alines cost $150 generally play the on the same amp same deck and wow u lisen and see what i mean)
these Loudspeakers are well good and sounds good in my Sound Storm AMP. 500x2 watt Estan Brutales
These speakers are money savers- no doubt. Although there is an occasional "popping" coming from the speakers (which to be truthful, I am not sure is the speaker itself at all, but actually the music recording..) these speakers are fantastic. They may not live up to the specs (def. cannot handle 250W max, for example), but they sound incredibly clear. You may, however, want to add a subwoofer along in the setup, as most 6-1/2's cannot really deliver a true "punch". Overall- Way to go, Alpine. I expect these speakers to last a long time, without any problems. Audiophiles- You will love the price, and love the speaker. It looks slick, too.... -Wolf from N VA
i was amazed at the sound quality of these little powerhouses!the price was great and so was the sound. I put them in a 98 blazer to match my head unit and must say WOW!!!!alpine rocks!!!!thanks online car stereo! i will be back!
Upgraded stocks in my Honda Civic LXi, handles bass very very well. Godd contol on highs no distortion. Very good sound dispersion
I'm a little dissapointed with this speaker. I bought to of these for my rear speakers in my car, and im soon buying the alpine components for the front. First is the positives. I love that it came with an adapter for different size openings which luckily i didnt have to use. It was nice to have just in case though. It also has a passive crossover which is nice the tweeter probably wont blow. The swivel tweeter is also nice since you can then aim the tweeter more at you since it sounds better that way. At high volumes at sounds awsome. Bass response is just OK. I was expecting more out of this speaker. I must admit it does sound awsome but I was hoping to see a great improvement. I have 2 DUAL speakers in the front of my car which i got for free from bestbuy with the purchase of my headunit. As most people know dual isnt one of the better brands out there. and these dual speakers probably retail for about $10. I didnt really notice much of a difference between my Dual and Alpine speakers at regular volumes. (volume for an everyday driver) At higher volumes though there was more distrotion and the tweeters were blown on my duals but my alpines still sounded amazing. I was hoping to hear some improvement though at the regular volume levels which i did not hear. I am however powering the speakers off my headunit 25RMS and not using an amp. speakers are reated for 40RMS so this might be a problem. so overall these speakers are awsome, especially at high volumes, but at normal volumes sound just like $10 speakers from bestbuy.(at leat the ones i got)

Very very clean sound. I replaced the speakers in my 97 2 door yukon and wow...what an improvment, the tweeter in the center swivels so u can direct the sound up at any angle....what a good sounding speaker at a great price....
These are awsome speakers! The sound clarity is insane. I'm Very impresed with them.
i had a 1992 honda prelude. i had four of these babys hooked up to the alpine f-250 amp. also had a single 12 inch type r hooked up to a kenwood amp. the wattage was a perfect match for both. i messed up when i installed one of them and poked a hole in the cone. these things still had amazing sound quality. in short these speakers were amazing for the money. whoaaaa!
