OK but too much distortion at high levels
this sub only rocks in a SPL box recommended by audiobahn 3.5 cubes each woofer distorts on smaller box and less wattage need at least 750 watt or higher i got 2 in a ported spl box with one RF 1501bd in 2 ohm load and this thing pounds gives 15" woofer a run for there money but i gonna need 2 more to give em a beat down inverted got a little more bump in bass but looks HELLA COOL
i have one mounted in a 2.5 box ported with 800 watts rms to it it pounds makes all of my mirrors shake only problem is tht it rattles the hell out of a 1997 corrola nobody will st in back seat
i have two of these being pushed by a Pgoenix Gold T500.2 amp in a custom box and the sound is amazing, after i bought these i ran across a pair of MTX's and audiobahn is gunna have a run for its money a very durable sub but i think imma add two MTX 10's to my trunk just for that extra thump, but as far as the audiobahns go i have my amp turned all the way down and im still setting of car alarms. this sub is POWER HUNGRY a 2 farad cap at least i only have 1.25 and my car has shut off on me twice. if you can afford another battery go for it. these hit harder than the immortal series. great investment.
these are just wonderful. ive really enjoyed "bumping" in my car as i cruise along the road. anyone looking for just a dandy subwoofer should consider purchasing the Audiobahn AW1205Q.
This one sub in a prefab box won me two trophies at a local db drag race phat 12 and 142.6 decibels I have a this sub and a a1200d amp in my explorer and thats it. I love it..
WOW! what can i say. This sub ROCKS. I have 2 in a vented box and it pounds really hard. I drive by school wit these and everyone jus stares. It literally feels like you have a jet engine in your trunk. If you want something that turns heads go for this. Make sure you have atleast 800 watts runnin thru it. Im runnin a T10001bd amp thru these and it still can take more. My advice if you want to turn heads and go deaf these are ur best bet.
For me These are some really good subs im pushing them with a little amp and there still hittin the kicker amp that i have on reviews ive read on it says its very underestamated which is the truth.
